Conceptualised by Michelin-starred chef Jeff Ramsey, Babe presents modern Japanese Tapas aka Japas, in a fun approach filled with whimsy and wonderment.
With a menu that reflects Chef Ramsey's refined repertoire in Japanese cuisine, Spanish tapas and food science, produce is locally grown at the in-house rooftop garden.

My wife and I had dinner at Babe on our final night in KL for our honeymoon and honestly, we'd had dishes that were 10x better from street food stalls for a fraction of the cost. It's a nice setting as the restaurant overlooks the city skyline, but if you're looking for top quality food, this isn't the place for you. We've eaten at Michelin star restaurants in the UK and were expecting a similar level of quality but it didn't come close; the food was always presented really well but it felt like 'form over function' as the taste wasn't there. We opted for the wine pairing which was ok, but as with most places in Malaysia, it was pretty pricey for average wine (one of the reds was Cono Sur Bicicleta which is about £7.50 a bottle in England)
Had their valentine menu. Food is very unique and tasty. They managed to obtain rare materials for the occasion. They also made nice arrangements for our anniversary too.
Will definitely be back to try the usual menu. We had an amazing appetizer of salmon roe with some custard. Just the right amount of saltiness and sweetness. The Alaskan King Crab legs were to die for and so was their A5 wagyu. Just melts in your mouth. Dessert was a little disappointing but I didn't like berries so that's a little biased. The waiter was really good. He was attentive and he made our meal a little more interesting. His name was Rabbi. The view is magnificent. So ask for a table facing the KL skyline.
The food was very good and our table was perfect. The view from this restaurant is incredible, especially on a clear night. The service was not quite what I would expect from a Michelin starred restaurant. We were sat and it took a while for our drink order to be taken. Almost felt like we were forgotten about, the waiter came to take our food order, and then asked if we had even had a drink order yet. Everything after that felt a little but rushed. If it weren't for that I would hav given it five stars.
As recommended by a friend who had tried the restaurant before, we went there with excitement. The window seating is wonderful with a stunning panoramic view of the KL city. The food is less interesting than what we have expected tho it is of high quality.
